Mitsuki Rara is a main character in Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure. Mitsuki Rara the daughter of Hiroshi and Ayuko Rara. She is the World B counterpart to Mitsuki Sanada.
Biography
Mitsuki Rara is Mitsuki Sanada’s counterpart in the parallel world. They look exactly alike except for the color and style of their hair. However, the similarity ends there. While Mitsuki Sanada is cold and abrasive, Mitsuki Rara is gentle and friendly. She is well-liked by her peers and subordinates. Her parents are Hiroshi and Ayuko Rara, the leaders for the Rara Army, enemy of the Earth Defense Force. She is usually a shy and quiet person, however, when she becomes her alter ego, Miss Ra, who is the field commander for the Rara Army, in order to be helpful in the war effort, she'd place herself into a trance to play the ruthless warrior.

Mitsuki Rara once personally nursed Kazuki Yotsuga back to health after he'd been injured while fighting one of the Rara Army's robots. However, when she finds out that Kazuki is an enemy pilot, she launches him away in an escape pod, remembering the time he could have killed Miss Ra, but saved her instead.
Mitsuki is later brainwashed by her mother into piloting Himiko, one of the most powerful robots created, which possesses a second generation Royal Tree (revealed in the GXP novels.). After Kazuki saves her, she resists returning home, eventually becoming a Core Robot pilot for the EDF. She comes the closest to capturing Kazuki's heart; the two almost go out on a date, which is unfortunately cancelled by U.N. officers intent on sending her home.
When Zinv is destroyed and the worlds merge upon Kazuki's wish, Mitsuki lives in the Sanada home with Kazuki and the other girls, even though her parents live right next door. At the end of the series, she decides to go into space with everyone.
Trivia
- In the True Tenchi Muyo! GXP novels, it is revealed that the events of Dual occurred over a billion years before the main timeline of Tenchi Muyo! and a number of characters share an astral pattern with Mitsuki Rara, including Ryoko Balta, Suiren, and Ringo Tatsuki. Perhaps her most direct reincarnation is the former AI and cabbit clone, Kirche.
- To emphasize this connection, when Kirche appeared in the fifth season of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, Megumi Toyoguchi returned to voice the character.
