Funaho is Yosho's 1st Generation Space ship, named after Yosho's mother. It is a rare first-generation tree spawned directly from Tsunami-no-fume and thus one of the most powerful Jurian tree ships. Heavily damaged in Yosho's battle with Ryoko; the tree, the heart and soul of the space ship, had taken root and can no longer take ship form. However, because Yōshō had taken the three gems from Ryoko during their battle and bonded them to the pommel of sword Tenchi, Funaho retained its power. As a result, the gems had supplied energy to the tree for over 700 years allowing it to sustain Yosho's youth.
