Pretty Sammy accidentally loses her magical baton after she defeats a Love-love Monster. It falls into the hands of Konoha, who transforms into the magical girl "Funky Connie", but she uses her magical powers in order to win the love of her crush Hiroto instead of for good. Meanwhile, Pixy Misa takes advantage of the situation and attacks the city with another Love-love Monster, "Cheesecake Girl".

A Love-love Monster, "Chicken Girl" is wreaking havoc by throwing eggs at innocent bystanders. Pretty Sammy quickly arrives and defeats it with Pretty Coquettish Bomber which sends her high into the sky. As Chicken Girl is defeated, a shower of eggs falls from the sky, and Sammy catches some of them so that can be used to cook rice omelet. However, Ryo-Ohki asks where her baton is, and Sammy realizes that she accidentally threw it away.
Konoha is hit in the head with Pretty Sammy's baton. She picks it up and declares that she'll use it to conquer the world, but is freaked out when the baton speaks to her and pleads that doesn't use it for such purposes. After the baton clarifies that she'll be able to use magic if she fights for world peace, Konoha changes her mind and decides to become a magical girl.
In Juraihelm, Ramia finds out that Sasami lost her baton and instructs Rumiya to go to Earth to take advantage of the opportunity. Rumiya is hesitant to go since he thinks they're going to lose again, but Ramia waves him off when Tsunami enters their room to tell them of the terrible news.
Sasami tells her mother that she's going out, but as she leaves, she fails to see Misao, who was coming over with a cheesecake baked by her mother. Then, Rumiya in his bird form flies over to her.
Despite the magical baton insisting that Konoha should become a magical girl to solve several problems in the city (including a bank robbery and a gasoline station that's on fire), Konoha says that these are petty things that a magical girl shouldn't come out for. Just then, a giant meteor is about to crash into Tokyo, and Konoha decides to transform. She chants "Ting, jing, ting-a-lingle-ling" and transforms into the magical girl "Funky Connie". She then uses the baton like a cue stick and shoots a laser at the meteor that causes it to veer off-course and miss the city. Connie then finds Hiroto and Kenji in the crowd, though as with the case with Pretty Sammy, they are unable to identify her as Konoha. Nevertheless, Connie drags her crush Hiroto with her.
Meanwhile, Sasami and Ryo-Ohki try looking for her baton in a park. Unsuccessful, Sasami tells Ryo-Ohki to smell her and try to pick up the scent (and thus the baton) elsewhere.
Funky Connie and Hiroto, who she has tied-up with rope from head to toe, arrive at Umi no Hoshi Elementary School. Connie uses her magic to create a large castle. Hiroto angrily tries telling her to get rid of the castle and free him, but Connie doesn't take the hint. She instead tries using her magic to win over his heart but ends up electrocuting him several times. However, when he gets up, Hiroto has fallen completely in love with Connie.
It is at this point that in Juraihelm, the balance of Gemini shifts slightly toward evil.
Misao is sitting on a swing set at a park with Rumiya and the cheesecake, which is missing a piece. She tells Rumiya that she and Sasami had promised to hang around today, and solemnly says that she doesn't want to be alone.
Ryo-Ohki accidentally leads Sasami back to her house instead of finding the baton. Suddenly, Pixy Misa shows up with a new Love-love Monster, "Cheesecake Girl", which was made out of Misao's slightly-eaten cheesecake. Misa tells Sasami that it's ridiculous that her supposed rival would lose her baton. She then takes out Pretty Sammy's baton and hands it to Sasami. However, when she tries transforming, Sasami is instead stuck inside of a giant Pretty Sammy costume. It turns out that the baton was a fake. Misa laughs at Sasami for falling for her trick and orders Cheesecake Girl to start spreading cheese all over the city.
As Sasami is swept near her school by the wave of cheese, she is saved by Washu, who noticed her while flying in her hovercraft. She almost accidentally reveals that she's Pretty Sammy when she almost tells her that she lost her magical baton, but Washu uses her computer to help her find her "lost object" which is located at school.
Meanwhile, Connie declares her love for Hiroto, but just before they kiss, Hiroto refers to her as Connie instead of Konoha as she wanted. She then reverts to her normal state to try and convince him that she's Konoha, but it doesn't work. Frustrated that her magic is useless at winning Hirito's love, Konoha throws the magical baton away, ignoring the baton which tries to tell her that the city is in trouble right now.
Sasami is hit in the face with the magical baton and is surprised to find out that it has the ability to speak (something which Ryo-Ohki forgot). Nonetheless, Sasami transforms into Pretty Sammy. She finds Pixy Misa, who orders Cheesecake Girl to wash Sammy away to Papua New Guinea. Sammy evades and blocks the jets of cheese and annihilates the Love-love Monster with Pretty Coquettish Bomber, but Pixy Misa escapes thanks to the rapid flow; meanwhile, Washu is grateful to have collected more data.
In Juraihelm, the balance of Gemini shifts slightly toward good and nullifies the previous shift toward evil. Tsunami is elated, but Ramia is indifferent until Tsunami mentions that she's the queen, which immediately angers her.
Sasami and Ryo-Ohki run into Misao in the park. After Sasami apologizes to Misao for being away, they sit down to enjoy the cake Misao brought with her. However, Sasami and Ryo-Ohki immediately lose their appetite when they find out that it's cheesecake. Rumiya takes a final look at them before flying back to Juraihelm. In the distance, they can see Hiroto desperately running away from a love-struck Konoha.
Kenji, who had been swept away by a wave of cheese during Cheesecake Girl's initial attack, slowly nears the coast of Papua New Guinea.
Trivia
- As Ryo-Ohki notes that Chicken Girl has a rooster comb (the rooster being an adult male chicken), it is possibly that Chicken Girl is in fact that first male Love-love Monster.
- This is supported by Chicken Girl's suspiciously masculine voice.
- When Ryo-Ohki smells Sasami and notes that she smells like a baby, Sasami kicks him before telling him to start looking. Misao can be seen for a few frames of this second-long sequence.

- This episode continues the trend of Pixy Misa targeting people or places that cause her pain as Misao. In this case, besides creating general chaos, Pixy Misa seemed intent on making Sasami miserable specifically. Even Sasami noticed, commenting that Pixy Misa was being unusually cruel to her. This was very likely because Sasami had forgotten to meet Misao at the park, leaving Misao feeling sad and abandoned there.
