Touri Fueyama is a character in Ai Tenchi Muyo!.
Connection to Folktales
New original characters in Ai Tenchi Muyo! are very loosely inspired by the popular Japanese folktale Momotarō. Touri Fueyama represents the pheasant in the story, one of three animal friends that Momotarō gathers to fight the monsters plaguing their village. When Tenchi Masaki goes into the past, he meets her doppelganger from hundreds of years ago, Tome Tamaomi, from the tale of Kibitsuhiko no Mikoto.
Personality
Touri Fueyama is highly analytical and constantly measuring things with her constantly present tablet computer. She does have a perverted side though.
Background
Nothing is known of Touri's past. She is the Treasurer or Clerk of the Junai Academy Student Council and often handles technical matters and fine details.
She is very protective and loyal to the Student Council President, Momo Kawanagare.
When she first meets Tenchi, she is highly suspicious of him and of his intentions towards Momo. She, Hachiko, and Hana Saryu even contemplate torturing him on his first day. During the Culture Festival, she meets Sasami and becomes obsessed with her cuteness, to an unhealthy degree.
Although present during battles, she doesn't seem to be much of a physical fighter and serves a more tactical support role.
