"Zero Ryoko" is the twelfth episode of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki.
Plot
Overcome with emotions, Zero is unable to assassinate Tenchi. Washu confronts Zero and the dopple tries to capture her, but fails. Ayeka then appears with Azaka and Kamidake to try and stop Zero believing her to be Ryoko, however, Zero easily incapacitates them. Once Tenchi arrives on the scene, Zero tearfully retreats. Using Ryo-Ohki, Washu, Ayeka, and Tenchi go into space to Dr. Clay's ship.
Once they find it, they find that Mihoshi is in the midst of a battle with Dr. Clay's ship. Ayeka and Tenchi land on Dr. Clay's ship to help the crash-landed Mihoshi, while Washu infiltrates inside the ship and confronts Dr. Clay. Soon Mihoshi, Ayeka, and Tenchi manage to get inside the ship, but due to Mihoshi's incompetence, they're trapped in the hallway. Back to Washu and Dr. Clay the two briefly talk about how Washu knew where Dr. Clay was in his ship. She also details how he loves "Marking" his favorite things with his logo. When it seems that Washu was gaining the upper hand on Dr. Clay, Zero arrives and turns the tables on her. However, Zero then requests that Tenchi doesn't get involved any longer. Acting out of the nature of Ryoko whose personality she copied. In accordance with her disobedience, Dr. Clay reprimands Zero by shocking her unconscious. With Washu entrapped in a special gelatine, Dr. Clay plans to extract information from Washu's brain in regards to her relationship with Washu. But before he could do that, Zero blasts off the upper part of the gelatine Washu was entrapped in allowing her to break free from it and escape. Dr. Clay then escapes on another smaller ship, but not before setting off a self destruct sequence on his main ship.
Meanwhile, Mihoshi, Ayeka, and Tenchi who still trapped somewhere on the ship are caught in an implosion. It's at that moment, Tenchi activates his Light Hawk Wings forming a barrier around them all. Witnessing this as it plays out, Dr. Clay planned to report this to Tokimi, but Ryo-Ohki confronts him and he's thereby captured. With everything settled with Dr. Clay, it's decided that Zero will merge with Ryoko thereby becoming one. Elsewhere, it's revealed that Tokimi and D3 watched everything as it all played out and took a special interest in Tenchi and his Tenchi-ken.
Life is now back to normal back in the Misaki residence, however, the main thing that's changed is Ryoko's attitude.
